DuckSkins is a CS2 (CS:GO) case opening site. You add balance and open themed cases, each one showing its full contents and the drop chance of every skin before you open it. What you unbox lands in your DuckSkins inventory, where you can sell it back for balance, put it into a Contract, or withdraw it as a real Steam item.
With your Steam account. That is the sign-in method on DuckSkins, so you will need a Steam account to take part at all. You confirm you are 18 or over and accept the terms as part of signing in.
Three things: a Steam Trade Offer URL saved on your profile, a Steam inventory that is not private, and an account able to receive trades. Steam's own trade holds apply on top of that. You can open cases and hold items without any of this — it only matters at withdrawal.
Yes. Every case and its full contents, with the value and listed drop chance of each skin, is visible without an account and without balance.
DuckSkins is for adults aged 18 and over. It is entertainment — only spend what you are comfortable spending, and take a break whenever it stops being fun.
Pick a case, check the contents and the drop chance listed for every skin, then open it. The result is decided by a provably fair roll you can verify yourself afterwards. Whatever you unbox goes straight to your inventory.
On the case page. Every case lists all of its skins with their value and their drop chance, so you can see exactly what you are opening for before you spend anything.
Case Battles are head-to-head case opening. Two to four players open the same cases at the same time and the winner takes every item from the battle. There are four modes: highest total value wins, lowest total value wins, and two variants where only the final round counts. Players who do not win still receive a small rakeback from the prize pool. You can add bots to fill empty slots.
Contract trades several items from your inventory for a single item drawn from a price range around their combined value. The result can be worth more than what you put in, or less. Contract results are provably fair and verifiable like any other roll.
DuckSpin is the special reveal animation that fires when an open lands on something unusual for that case — a rare drop, or an item worth far more than the case cost. It changes nothing about the result or the odds; it is there so a standout drop looks like one.
Community Cases are cases built by other players from the item catalogue. They open exactly like regular cases and use the same provably fair system. You can create your own too.
The Battle Pass is a seasonal progress track. Playing earns XP and moves you up the tiers, and each tier holds a reward. Claiming a reward has its own requirements, and some tiers sit on a premium track you unlock separately — the Battle Pass page shows what each tier needs and what you have already earned.
Your level comes from the XP you earn as you play. It is what unlocks the higher Daily Free Cases, and your progress to the next level is shown on your profile.
Go to the deposit page and choose a method. Cards, several cryptocurrencies and skin deposits are supported; the exact list depends on your country and is shown on that page.
Skin deposits credit once the trade is accepted and Steam confirms it, which usually takes a few minutes but can take longer while Steam is busy or while your account is under a trade hold. If it has been more than an hour, open a support ticket with the trade details.
Cryptocurrency deposits credit after the network confirms them, so a delay of several minutes is normal and depends on the coin and on network congestion. If the transaction is confirmed on-chain and your balance has not moved, send us the transaction hash through support.
Balance is what you deposit and what you get from selling items back — you can spend it anywhere. Bonus balance comes from rewards and promotions and can only be spent on the cases marked as bonus cases.
In the promo code box on the rewards page. Codes are posted on our social channels and handed out in events. An affiliate code is a different thing — it goes in its own box on the deposit page and adds a percentage to the deposit you make with it.
They cost no balance to open, but they are not open to brand-new accounts. Each case unlocks at a level, and each also has a deposit requirement measured over a rolling window — so a case can lock again later if you stop meeting it. The Daily Free Cases page shows exactly what each one still needs.
The item is in your inventory straight away. From there you can withdraw it as a real CS2 item to Steam, sell it back to DuckSkins for balance, or put it into a Contract.
Instant sell converts an item in your inventory back into balance immediately, at the price shown next to it. It is useful when you would rather have the balance than the skin. It cannot be undone.
Yes — lock it from your inventory. A locked item cannot be sold or used until you unlock it again.
A withdrawal is queued as soon as you request it and completes once the item has been sourced and the Steam trade is accepted. Most complete quickly; popular items can take longer, and Steam's own trade holds apply. You can follow the status in your profile.
The usual reasons are a missing or invalid Steam Trade Offer URL on your profile, a private Steam inventory, an account that cannot receive trades, or the item being unavailable on the market we source from. Selling it back for balance is always available instead.
On your profile. Copy the Trade Offer URL from your Steam privacy settings and save it there — a withdrawal cannot be sent without it.
Prices are referenced from Steam and refreshed automatically, so the value shown on an item tracks the real market rather than a fixed internal number.
Yes, and you do not have to take our word for it. Case opens and Contracts are rolled from a server seed we commit to in advance, your own client seed, and a counter — reveal the server seed on the Provably Fair page and you can recompute those results yourself. Case Battles are rolled from a seed generated for that battle, and the same page shows you the roll, the nonce, the server seed hash and the client seed for your own rounds. How it works has the full explanation.
Yes. Set your own client seed on the Provably Fair page at any time. Because your seed goes into every roll, changing it changes every result that follows.
Open the Provably Fair page and look up the result you want to check. It returns the roll, the nonce, the committed server seed hash and the client seed used, which is everything you need to recompute it yourself.
Create your code in the affiliate section and share it. You earn a commission from the players who sign up with it, credited to your referral balance and shown on your affiliate dashboard. Paying that balance out is handled by our team — open a support ticket if you have earned commission and want it paid.
Contact us through support and we will help. DuckSkins is entertainment — only spend what you are comfortable spending, and step away whenever it stops being fun.
Open a support ticket and our team will get back to you. You can follow your existing tickets on the support page. Include your account name and, if it is about a deposit or a withdrawal, the transaction or trade details.
